Washington DC has specific regulations for window tint darkness. DC law is more lenient on front windows than Maryland but stricter than Virginia on rear windows.

Important Notes
DC has stricter enforcement than Virginia or Maryland. If your vehicle is registered in DC, we recommend staying within legal limits. We'll help you choose the darkest legal tint for maximum benefit.
* VLT = Visible Light Transmission. Lower percentage = darker tint. DC's front window requirement (70%) means the front windows will appear nearly clear.
